If you want to make money by blogging, and major factor that you need to keep in mind is that you can't JUST promote other people's stuff, you have to offer your readers something of value. So, what does "something of value" mean, exactly. Well, from my perspective, that means showing people options, where they can get the best price, and when possible write a product review on some products that you have used yourself. Take a look around your house, and I'll bet you can come up with several items that you use every day that you're either impressed with our displeased with.
For example, I just wrote a review on Samsung Wide Screen TVs and why I personally dislike them. (You can read my review here: http://poconofoothillstrading.com/reviews/my-big-beef-with-samsung-wide-screen-tvs/ It doesn't necessarily mean that Samsung's products are not high-quality, but there is one simple thing that annoys me so much about them that I would never by one myself. But maybe that doesn't mean that it's necessarily a bad choice for someone else, it's just a bad choice for me. If you're curious, check it out, and maybe you'll get some idea how to write a review on a product that you don't like.
Don't always write reviews on products that you DON'T like though, you also need to write reviews on products that you are fond of. Any if you know who is offering the best price on that product, you can promote it if you have an affiliate publisher agreement without that particular merchant.
Good Luck and Happy Blogging!!!!
"How to Blog for Money or Can Your Really Make Money Online" is a short overview of my impression of affiliate marketing. What is it? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Can you really earn money doing affiliate marketing? This is the question. It appears that many people are making incredible amounts of money, but it also seems that there are many people who aren't making a dime. So, what makes the difference? I'm still looking for answers.
