If you spend a lot of time on the road, eating out, patronizing hotels/motels/airports, and if you are a blogger writing on the go is probably a big part of your existence.  In order to keep it going, while keeping yourself going, a necessary item is a good, compact, easy to use computer.  I have a laptop, and that's great for at home, but I found it inconvenient for use on the road.  With WiFi in a lot of restaurants and lodging establishments, you can almost blog anywhere at anytime.  Maybe in some foreign countries it might not be quite that easy, but a lot of the well-populated cities of the world are WiFi enabled, including many major airports.

The perfect computer for my personal needs is the Acer Aspire NetBook with a 10.1" screen, and I found that this NetBook fits nearly perfectly in an iPad case that I found at Best Buy.

So, if you are blogging on the road, the computer shown below is the one that I would recommend for lightweight, easy to transport, and easy to use.  I installed Windows 7 on my machine, as I found it more user friendly from my perspective, but that is left up to personal preference.  However, if you happen to take your computer on an airplane, make sure you put it in a place where no one can step on it, as the computer screen doesn't take kindly to feet.  Fortunately, they aren't that difficult to replace if you're somewhat handy with a screwdriver.
